Labor Opposition Leader Bill Shorten delivering his 2017 Budget Reply Speech

Labor has announced it would introduce a cap on the amount individuals can claim on the cost of managing their tax affairs to $3000 while restoring any losses to the education budget that have occurred during the reign of the Australian Liberal Party.

Labor is supporting the multi-billion dollar tax on banks, though bill shorten is skeptical on the Liberal Party's ability to minimize banks ability at passing on this cost to customers. The Honourable Bull Shorten says Labor will also pursue a Royal Commission into the banks.
